Dr. Autum Pinkerton

Dr. Autum Pinkerton, ” Dr. Pink ” attended Tarleton State University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology graduating Magna Cum Laude. She was a two-sport collegiate athlete that competed with both the track & field team and the cheerleading team, winning a National Cheerleading Championship in 2018. On the track team, she threw weight-throw and the hammer-throw. During her athletic career, she was awarded Cheerleader of the Year two times, Academic MVP, Most Spirited Cheerleader, Commitment to Excellence & the Texan Iron Award.

While at Tarleton, she worked in the Athletic Weight Room as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist where she learned to assess movement patterns, teach and coach Olympic weightlifting and improve athletic performance for all 15 sports at Tarleton State. She also coached gymnastics, cheerleading, and tumbling at a local gym and volunteered in the Motor Behavior Laboratory where she performed rehabilitative therapy with spinal injury patients. After graduation in 2018, Dr. Pink attended Parker University on an academic scholarship where she simultaneously earned her Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Science in Strength and Human Performance degrees both graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors.

At graduation, she was also awarded Outstanding Student Leader for the Class of 2021. During Dr. Pink’s internship year, she was selected to the Sports Performance Internship which focused primarily on treating athletes of all competitive levels and ages. Dr. Pink was then selected to a prestigious internship during her final trimester of Chiropractic school at the Dallas Veteran Affairs Hospital treating veterans of all branches of the military. Dr. Pink also served as Class Treasurer, Class President and was President of the Parker Sports Performance Club.

Dr. Pink utilizes a variety of Chiropractic techniques including Diversified, Activator, Thompson, Extraspinal Adjusting and Gonstead. She also has extensive experience and utilizes myofascial stretch and release, fascial distortion model, selective functional movement systems, functional movement screens, scraping, taping, cupping, and dry needling.

She also has experience with pediatric, pregnancy & post-natal Chiropractic care. Outside of Chiropractic, Dr. Pink is a huge fitness advocate participating in CrossFit where she spends the majority of her free time. She also coaches cheerleading and does cheerleading choreography all over Texas at high schools and colleges and is very successful in that with three State Championships, three second place National Championship finishes and one National Championship title.
